Profile of required skills and qualifications
The carpenter-joiner foreman is responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling the work on site throughout the duration of the project. He must be rigorous and have good planning and organizational skills and have the necessary skills to supervise.- Full time 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday,
- 8 hours per day
- Permanent Position
- Salary of $30-$50 per hour depending on experience
- DEP in carpentry-joiner required or equivalence
- Have a class 5 driving license
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Manage, supervise and guide a team of carpenters in carrying out the work
- Perform all other related tasks as requested
- Good physical shape
- Be comfortable with teamwork
- Good communication with the various stakeholders on the project
- Ensure proper coordination of work with other trades on the site
- Ensure the quality of subcontractors' work and take the necessary corrective measures
- Diagnose and resolve potential problems related to construction and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistency and quality of work
- Order the materials required for the work to be carried out
